Creole Mustard Battered Catfish
Ingredients:
Vegetable oil for frying
1 cup milk
3 tablespoons Zatarain's Creole Mustard
Juice of 1 lemon
1 1/2 pounds catfish fillets
3/4 cup Zatarain's Crispy Southern Style Seasoned Fish-Fri OR Zatarain's Seasoned Fish-Fri
Ground black pepper
Hot pepper sauce (optional)
Directions:
1. Pour oil into deep heavy skillet, filling no more than 1/3 full. Heat on medium-high heat to 375°F.
2. Mix milk, Creole Mustard and lemon juice in shallow dish. Dip fish into mustard mixture, then coat with Fish-Fri. Carefully add to hot oil, a few pieces at a time.
3. Fry 4 minutes until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with black pepper just before serving. Serve with hot pepper sauce, if desired.
Makes 6 servings.

Yummmyyyyyyy!!!!!!!! Fried catfish is good just about anyway you can fry it. I will have to try this recipe out though. I'm a plain old roll in corn meal and fry girl.
I've never tried it any other way before. thanks for the recipe!!:-)
