I don't think that some people know what shrimp scampi is. It is not fried with a batter. Also at Red lobster they do not fry them in a pan, they put them in little casserole dishes and broil them. I have worked there for 3 years as a server.
You will need:
mixing bowl, measuring pitcher, wire whip
BATCH SIZE: 1X 2X 3X 4X
YIELD: 1.4 quarts 2.8 quarts4.2 quarts5.6 quarts
Garlic Bread Topping 1 bag2 bags 3 bags 4 bags
Buttersauce32 fl oz 64 fl oz 96 fl oz 1 gallon
Chablis Wine6 fl oz 12 fl oz 18 fl oz 24 fl oz
Place garlic bread topping into mixing bowl or bain marie.
Add buttersauce to dry mix and stir with wire whip until smooth.
Add wine, and stir again until smooth.
They use a liquid buttery sauce, and a garlic bread topping which is a dry mix. I will try to find the recipe for that, so far no luck. You might be able to find buttery sauce. The dry mix has to have garlic in it, and probably some other things- I will keep looking. Hope this helps!
