New Orleans Recipe for Sizzling Steak
Mrs. Vojkovich and the chefs at Rouses say:
We put the first sizzling steak on New Orleans' menu almost 75 years ago. Here's the trick to making your steak sizzle:
Salt & pepper steak on both sides, then cook it in a super hot skillet to make a great crust and seal in the juices.
When your steak is done to your liking, out it on a hot plate and add a pat of butter on top.
When you cut your steak, the juices will mix with the butter to make this incredible sauce. You'll need plenty of Rouses French bread to mop it all up!
