Louisiana Crawfish Championship
| April 5, 2008 | ||
| 11:00 am | to | 8:00 pm |
Sponsored by The Immaculate Conception School, this is a crawfish boiling competition between teams to determine who has the best boiled crawfish in the state. It is the ONLY boiling event registered and sanctioned by the State of Louisiana. This means that the winner of the event is truly the only person/company that can claim they have the "best boiled crawfish in Louisiana".
With paid admission, each person gets to sample crawfish, corn, sausage, potatoes and anything else in the pot from each competing team. Last year we had 38 different teams who, along with Cajun Land Spices, boiled and served somewhere in the neighborhood of 5 tons of crawfish.
Also, with paid admission, there will be full musical sets from BANDS like the Chee-Weez, Bag of Donuts, and Big Wheel Band with the production crew from PM Productions.
Amusement Rides and Concessions are provided at additional cost.
